Full Day Safari

Early morning pick up for sunrise safari before breakfast break at a picnic site or camp. Continue the morning safari and break for lunch at one of the camps or picnic site in the southern sector of the park. Return to your accommodation in Hazyview or onward transfer by late afternoon.
There is nothing quite like a sunrise in the African bush. The open vehicle gives you the opportunity to live the sights, smells and sounds of the African day awakening in the bushveld.
Tour times and durations:
January to March: 05:00 to 15:30.
April to September: 05:30 to 16:00.
October to December: 05:00 to 15:30.
Please note that in winter the mornings are cool to cold so bring warm clothing and a good jacket. Zip on zip off long pants instantly revert to shorts for comfort in the heat of the day. Peel off your layers as the day warms up. Blankets are provided.
Summer temperatures are warm to hot with cool mornings . Bring sun cream, hats and a light jacket for the morning chill.
Also bring binoculars and fully charged cameras with plenty of space on the SD cards for those exciting sightings and perfect images.
What we have planned for you:
Your guide will pick you up in an open safari vehicle at your place of residence in Hazyview or within a 5 km of the village. Or choose to meet your guide at the Phabeni, Numbi or Kruger gates in an open game drive vehicle and depart for the Kruger National Park, home to the Big 5 (Elephant, Rhino, Buffalo, Lion and Leopard) as well as a wide variety of plains animals such as wildebeest, impala, kudu, bushbuck and nyala can be found while giraffe and zebra are abundant throughout the park with over 500 species of birds to keep the birders busy in this birding hotspot.
After check in, we immediately start our game viewing experience with the morning sunrise, searching for the diverse wildlife along the riverine thickets on the banks of the often dry riverbeds and on the open savannas, while learning from your guide about the habitat in which they live.
A scheduled breakfast and comfort break at one of the camp restaurants or a picnic site is welcome before continuing the drive. We continually stop to enjoy sightings while taking in the beautiful scenery in which we find ourselves.
After an exciting morning we stop for lunch at one of the park restaurants while discussing the morning sightings and working out where the best place is to go to for the afternoon. Your guide will get information about where to find the wildlife and maybe some exciting sightings from the other guides in the park.
This southern sector of the Kruger Park is renowned for it's lion and and leopard sightings as well as for the other predators such as the cheetah, wild dogs and hyena.
We finally exit in the midafternoon after an exciting and enthralling adventure in one of the worlds greatest wildlife refuges when we drop you back we will drop you back at your accommodation or to meet your transfer to your next destination.
